Green Bangla Agrovet Limited was incorporated in Registrar of Joint Stock Companies & firms in Bangladesh year of 2008. At first it was incorporated as Korea - Bangladesh joint venture company. After passing 5 years it was solely a Bangladeshi limited company.

Mr. Md. Habibur Rahman appointed as Managing Director from the day one of the company. He is the key man of the company. He made a foolproof strategic planning for the chronolog-ical journey and transformation of the company to make it’s a success story. Mr. Habib completed his B.Sc. Ag. degree from Sher-E-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangla-desh in 1986. After completion of his B.Sc. Ag he joined Auto Crop Care Limited, a leading Bangladeshi pesticide company and then he joined Swiss based world leading pesticide company Ciba-Geigy Bangladesh Limited. Presently known as Syngenta (BD) Ltd. After getting a good reputation, he joined his own company Green Bangla Agrovet Ltd., as a Director. Mr. Habib is a very well known figure in pesticide industries. Now he is responsible for every activities of this company.

From the very beginning of the company Mr. Md. Habibur Rahman wants to build a strong and trusted work force as well as marketing team in the company. The company’s marketing team is solely supervised by the M.D. from the very first time of the company until 2017. Now within 10 years journey in the pesticide business of Bangladesh, Green Bangla Agrovet Limited is one of the well known company of Bangladesh. There are more than 250 employ-ees are working in this company. The grown of the company is not less than 9% per year. The company has purchased a pesticide factory in Dhamrai BSCIC area in 2015. Now the company’s main product operation is working from Dhamrai.

Md. Riashat Habib

Deputy Managing Director at Green Bangla Agrovet Ltd.

In 2017, Mr. Riashat Habib, elder son of Mr. Md. Habibur Rahman joined the company as an Executive Director. After his joining, the company’s total environment was changed by his personal outlook. As we know, Mr. Riashat completed his B.Sc. Engineering degree from Ahsanullah University of Science & Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2012. After completion of his engineering degree he went to Australia for his M.Sc in Electric and Electronic Engineering (EEE). Then he again back to Bangladesh and joined his family business with his father. Now he is responsible for marketing department of the company.  For his outstanding collaboration and teamwork Green Bangla Agrovet Ltd. achieved 100 crore sales target in 2021. For his this remarkable achievement in January 2022 he is promoted as Deputy Managing Director.
