Green Bangla Agrovet Limited was incorporated in 2008 under the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms in Bangladesh. Initially, it was established as a Korea–Bangladesh joint venture company.

From its inception, Mr. Md. Habibur Rahman has been serving as the Managing Director and remains the key driving force behind the company. Through his strategic vision and well-structured planning, he has successfully guided the company’s growth and transformation into a notable success story.

Mr. Rahman completed his B.Sc. in Agriculture from Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, in 1986. After graduation, he began his career with a world-leading pesticide company, where he earned a strong reputation in the industry. Leveraging his experience and expertise, he later co-founded Green Bangla Agrovet Limited as a Director. Today, he is widely recognized as a prominent figure in the pesticide industry and oversees all operational activities of the company.

Over the years, the company has expanded significantly and now operates 13 depots across 13 regions of the country.

As part of its continuous growth and commitment to farmers, the company has focused on product diversification. In addition to conventional agro-products, Green Bangla Agrovet Limited has taken initiatives in the development of bio-pesticides and seeds. To further strengthen this direction and support sustainable agriculture, the company has established a dedicated Bio-Pesticide Department.
