Green Bangla Agrovet Limited was incorporated in the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies & firms in Bangladesh year of 2008. At first, it was incorporated as Korea - Bangladesh joint venture company.
Mr. Md. Habibur Rahman appointed as Managing Director from day one of the company. He is the key man of the company. He made foolproof strategic planning for the chronological journey and transformation of the company to make it’s a success story. Mr. Habib completed his B.Sc. Ag. degree from Sher-E-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangladesh in 1986. After completion of his B.Sc. Ag, joined Auto Crop Care Limited, a leading Bangladeshi pesticide company and then he joined Swiss-based world-leading pesticide company Ciba-Geigy Bangladesh Limited. Presently known as Syngenta (BD) Ltd. After getting a good reputation, he joined his own company Green Bangla Agrovet Ltd., as a Director. Mr. Habib is a very well-known figure in the pesticide industry. Now he is responsible for every activity of this company.
In 2017, the company has established 9 depots in 9 regions.
Whenever the company thinks about product diversification, the company thought about bio-pesticide and also seed. In order to facilitate the growth of the company as well as farmers goodwill, the company thinks about Bio-Pesticide Department
In 2019, the company has started thinking for bio-pesticide and seed business.
